Overview

Provenciano, nestled in the lively Maginhawa district of Quezon City, offers a true taste of Filipino heritage through its thoughtfully curated menu and inviting atmosphere. This restaurant brings to life classic Filipino dishes with a rustic charm that draws you in the moment you step through its doors, greeted by the vintage kalesa that sets the tone for a warm provincial experience.

The menu is a celebration of Filipino flavors, spotlighting favorites like Bibingka and Puto Bumbong, which evoke the festive spirit of local traditions. Its Kare-Kare stands out with a rich, slightly sweet peanut sauce that lovingly wraps tender meat until it melts on the tongue—though a finer blend of peanut butter could make it even more harmonious. Crispy Pata and Lechon Kawali deliver satisfying textures; the latter boasts a crackling skin paired with meat that strikes the perfect balance between tender and flavorful. The Okoy ng Calamba and Pork Sisig add layers of Filipino comfort food, while the Pako Salad refreshes the palate with traditional greens.

Provenciano’s halo-halo and Palitaw sa Latik complement the savory dishes beautifully, offering classic Filipino desserts that round off the meal with familiar sweetness and depth. Guests can personalize their dipping sauces at a dedicated corner, adding an interactive element to the dining experience that reflects Filipino hospitality and culinary creativity.

The dining space embraces an elegant Filipiniana aesthetic, spacious enough for groups yet intimate for families and friends. Customers appreciate the attentive and warm service that matches the homey vibe, creating an environment that feels both lively and welcoming. Parking might require a bit of patience, with street slots available just in front, but the convenience of location in a bustling food haven like Maginhawa makes it worth the visit.

Provenciano is ideal for diners seeking authentic Filipino fare in a setting that honors tradition while catering to modern comfort. Whether celebrating special occasions or enjoying a casual meal, it promises a flavorful journey into the heart of Filipino cuisine.

One of the best restaurants in Maginhawa for a Filipino food. Food is great and the staffs are accommodating and friendly. Lechon kawali is crispy and alamang is exactly salt and sweet. Tenderness of the meat is perfect. Kare-kare is must try as well, sauce is a little sweet and the meat melts in your mouth. Sauce palang is ulam na. (For improvement is the peanut butter is must mix very well). We just tasted the peanut butter in cubes. Just mixed it very well but overall is perfect. Gulaman is typically sweet. You may also make your own sawsawan at the corner. Parking area street parking front of the restaurant. Whole menu at the photos

First time. Came for dinner. Good thing upon passing by (thinking there was no parking), there was one slot available and so we took it. We were seated quickly as they were preparing the table which was in their private dining area. The ambiance was busy and full of conversations. We were given menus upon sitting, and it didn’t take long for us to give our food order. Food was good and served hot-delicious and huge portion of kansi, tasty chicken steak. The staff are nice and quick to respond to requests.

My fave has got to be the okoy and laing as pairing. As well as the bibingka and puto bumbong, a must every time we eat here! Ambiance is still the same the last time I remember.

My go to Filipino restaurant! If I have to impress a relative or a friend, I bring them here. Wide selection of Filipino food from mains to desserts. The price to serving ratio is really . My favourite is their kansi! A must try. Service was fast, and all of the dishes that I tried were flavorful. Limited parking in the area. They can also accommodate reservations.
